Our kindergarten is currently looking for an ECE qualified and fully registered teacher to join us in a full-time (40 hours per week) position.

With the support and care of our passionate and dedicated teaching team, children are able to develop their interests and learn confidently at their own pace. Our inclusive and collaborative approach means we work to instil a sense of belonging for our children and value strong relationships with kindergarten whānau and the local community.
We are looking for a seasoned educator looking to inspire tāmariki – from ages 2 to 5 – to want to come to kindergarten each day. You will be a team player, with strong communication skills and a flexible approach which enables you to work collaboratively with our teaching team, families and local community to achieve the shared vision and goals for our kindergarten.
An extensive knowledge of Te Whāriki will shine through in your practice and your planning, internal review processes and children's learning stories will reflect a real strength in documentation. You will share the organisation’s commitment to the principles of the Treaty of Waitangi and bicultural practice whilst embracing the rich diversity and multicultural context of our tamariki and kindergarten whānau.
You must also be competent using ICT and utilising a range of available technological resources to extend children’s learning and improve teaching practice. Experience supporting children with additional learning needs and in transition-to-school programmes would be advantageous.
