We are seeking an enthusiastic, innovative, highly skilled and experienced teacher to join our team. We are looking for an energetic, reflective classroom practitioner with proven leadership experience. The successful candidate will be able to support our team in the areas of moderation, collaboration and innovative teaching practice. They will be able to engage effectively with our school community and provide strong pedagogical leadership across the school. Our DP will join a high-performing team who are focused on continuous improvement and growth. They will be instrumental in helping us achieving our vision of nurturing and developing our leaders of tomorrow – he manukura mō apōpō. They will also have the opportunity for self-growth and development as a leader. A sense of fun is essential!
The successful candidate will not have a class of their own, however the position carries a teaching component of 0.5 working across all areas of our school, comprising of intervention programmes and some teacher release.
Depending on the strengths of the successful candidate, there may be an opportunity to negotiate an additional fixed-term management unit for a specific area of leadership over and above the DP role.
Position to start term 1, 2019.
