From the beginning of 2019 we require a passionate, innovative art and photography teacher on a part-time basis. Ideally you will be able to teach up to NCEA Level 3. NB: There may be an opportunity to increase the hours if you are able to teach additional subjects. Therefore, when applying please give details of all subjects you are able to teach, to what levels and your experience.

The successful applicant will have a strong record of providing engaging learning and ensuring every student succeeds. Working collaboratively with other teachers in the school, you must be committed to raising Māori achievement and restorative practices, be willing to participate in a culturally responsive context, and contribute to the extra and co-curricular life of our school.

The college is situated in a semirural community that is seeing significant development and growth. We are within easy commuting distance of south Auckland and Hamilton, and we are just 5 minutes from SH1. The highway near Te Kauwhata is currently being upgraded to dual carriageway which will speed up journey times to local towns and cities once it has been completed.
