We are seeking an enthusiastic NZ registered teacher for one of our Māori bilingual classes to start as soon as possible. We have 2 bilingual classes (+ 30% te reo) in a semi-shared MLE setting.
We are a decile 2, Y1–6 primary school in Manukau with a roll of 600+.
Our collaborative and fun staff are looking for a team-oriented, positive, enthusiastic teacher who is passionate about working within a multicultural setting with loving and friendly children.
The successful applicant will be committed to affirming student identity, raising student achievement and implementing effective, culturally relevant teaching practices. Proficiency in te reo Māori me ona tikanga is essential.
We use cooperative learning, PB4L and restorative practice strategies – we have great professional development opportunities.
