Due to the retirement of a long-serving staff member a combination of positions has become available – see other Middle Management advertisements. These positions can be combined or separated. If separate, see other advertised teaching positions for possible combinations.

The high school's pastoral systems focus on supporting the whole person. Working effectively with students, whānau, teachers and the senior leadership team is essential. Supporting students' personal growth, academic mentoring, leadership development and relationships with others are key areas of the position. The pastoral team consists of a senior leadership representative, 4 deans, school counsellor and the school nurse. This team is extremely effective and collaborative, and the new dean would be supported to understand the systems and ethos that sit behind our pastoral framework.

Our school is producing exceptional citizens focused on succeeding in life and contributing to their community.

A willingness to contribute to the extracurricular aspects of school life is welcomed.

The position commences at the start of term 2 but this can be negotiated. School housing may be available.

A visit to our school is welcomed.
