We are a very high-performing, small rural Y7–15 school nestled in the heart of beautiful West Otago which prides itself on developing well-rounded, socially responsible young people who have the qualifications, skills and dispositions to pursue their dreams.

The retirement of one of our long-serving leaders in the junior school means we are looking for a practitioner with experience in working with Y7–8 students who could potentially teach further up the school. Strengths in literacy would be a distinct advantage.

We are a PB4L school which has high expectations in regard to respect, responsibility and inclusiveness. Our students have a 'can-do' attitude and get involved in a wide range of sporting and cultural activities including the Duke of Edinburgh Hillary Awards programme and our staff are generous in supporting them. Our NCEA pass rates are outstanding and the foundations for this academic success are laid in the junior school so we are looking for a knowledgeable and skilled practitioner with an abundance of energy and creativity who can help us continue our proud traditions and inject new ideas to support the learning of our fantastic students, going forward.

Please check out our website and don't hesitate to contact the principal if you have any questions or would like to visit the school. Accommodation available.
