Our collegiate school is a leading Anglican independent school situated in Hamilton that has a commitment to providing education of the highest quality for its students.

Our school is a well-resourced day and boarding school with a reputation for high academic achievement. We are boys' only in Y9–10 and co-educational in Y11–13. The school has a national profile for innovation, is a leader in Agribusiness education and operates an outdoor experience for its Y10 students for six months at its Tihoi Campus.

With the recent promotion of the incumbent leader of curriculum (LOC) – social sciences, we seek a passionate, enthusiastic, and innovative person who will share in our schools drive for student success. We are looking for someone that is a skilled and innovative teacher who has proven leadership skills.

The successful applicant will need to be able to comfortably teach from Y9 through to Scholarship level. Joining a well-established team, you will have overall responsibility for the social sciences department and specific responsibility for Y9–10 social studies. You will be well supported with experienced Teachers in Charge in place for the geography, history, classics, tourism and commerce subject areas.

All of our students use either Chromebooks or Laptops as an integral part of their learning so a high level of ICT skills is required of applicants, as is support for and involvement with the school’s extensive co-curricular programme.

With relatively small class sizes and very motivated and self-disciplined students, staff enjoy the added benefits of working in the park-like grounds and are provided with cooked lunches during term times.
