A new centre in Flagstaff, Hamilton, with 3 stage-specific rooms. We are seeking a team leader to lead a team of up to around 5 teachers. The successful candidate will have experience mentoring a team to build capabilities, using inquiry as appraisal and actualising ideas from vision to reality. You must be a people person, able to foster a positive team culture and be able to effectively work with parents.
The position is team leader in our Puna Room for children up to 2 years old with a true belief in responsive care and a view of infants as competent, capable people. Key knowledge for the position includes a deep understanding of the Pikler Approach, RIE, brain development, whanaungatanga, and attachment theory.
