We seek a learning support educator who is empathetic, passionate and inspiring. The successful applicant will work within the middle and senior schools (Y7–13) displaying innovative leadership and focusing on appropriate learning pathways for students with specific learning needs. Key areas of responsibility include:
Experience in working with Māori and Pasifika students
Assisting students with learning needs to transition throughout each year level
Assessing and managing funding applications to special assessment conditions (SAC) and MOE
Implementing learning programmes for ESOL students
Coordinating and managing teacher aides effectively
