Te Kura is New Zealand's largest school. We provide personalised and authentic learning programmes through distance education from early childhood level to year 13, including to young adult and adult learners.

Our vision is to enable our students to achieve their educational and personal goals, empowering them to become engaged and contributing members of their communities.

We have a vacancy for a kaiako (teacher) to join the Central North Region team. We are looking for a kaiako with strengths in agriculture/pathways who understands, and is passionate about, 'Education 3.0' pedagogy. You must also be able to deliver authentic, student directed learning programmes in an increasingly online environment.

Your willingness to learn, innovate, work collaboratively and build relationships, along with a sound knowledge of The New Zealand Curriculum and assessment requirements are essential.

If this sounds like you and you have the enthusiasm, passion, drive, vision and commitment to improve education outcomes for all our students, and Maori and Pasifika learners in particular, we would love to hear from you.
