Due to our current DP attaining the principal’s job, we have a vacancy for a self-motivated, future-focused, culturally responsive and experienced leader with great communication skills. The successful applicant will work in a way that is reflective and collaborative with a student-centred approach. Our school is committed to striving for excellence and working closely through Maungakiekie Kāhui Ako. We are a PB4L, Green, Gold Enviroschool and have an amazing supportive school community. Leadership responsibilities will be developed to reflect the strengths of the successful applicant but a proven ability to grow and empower others within a professional learning organisation is essential.

Our new DP will have an excellent understanding of the need to lead change in an ever-evolving NZ Curriculum and a deep understanding of complexities of current teaching practices.

This position comes with full release for 2018. The level of release for 2019 and onward will be negotiated in term 4, 2018 as staffing and resourcing detail is confirmed. The position commences January 2018.
