Registered, experienced teacher preferred.

An energetic, competent, exciting, part-time teacher (4 days a week) is needed to teach in the junior syndicate.

Must be empathetic and understanding and prepared to lead or join in all of the exciting activities that children at this age enjoy and appreciate.

Preference will be given to applicants who have the ability to speak and understand te reo Māori and appreciate and support tikanga Māori. It is imperative that this teacher continues to nurture and motivate a diverse group of children.

Must be willing to learn new skills and implement teaching practices using digital technology.

Our students thrive on physical activity and enjoy participating in swimming and athletic sports and touch in the summer and cross-country, netball, rugby league, rugby union, volleyball, basketball and kī-o-rahi in the winter. The preferred applicant will actively support the students.

Must be collaborative, have a sound knowledge of the NZ Curriculum and be able to effectively report about student progress to the principal and parents.
