If so… we need you to join the Arahina team (Assistant Principal, psychologist and three teachers) to work with up to 20 students (10–16 years) who are in non-residential care of Oranga Tamariki and not in education to prepare and support these students to successfully transition into mainstream. This community-based service is based at 19 Pavitt St in Richmond and is run by Kingslea School in partnership with Oranga Tamariki, NZ Police, Canterbury District Health Board, Ngāi Tahu and the Ministry of Education.
Successful applicants will have high levels of cultural competence and strengths in developing student agency and raising student engagement and achievement.
Primary or Secondary qualifications considered.
Start term 1, 2018.
