We are a leader in the provision of early childhood teacher education and advocacy for the sector. Our organisation champions bicultural understanding and is influential in shaping the sector through advocacy, policy, and the delivery of high-quality teacher education qualifications. We have a professional leadership position available in our graduate certificate programme – Infant and Toddler Wellbeing and Learning – Te Puāwaitanga ō te Rito.

We are seeking applicants with a passion for teaching and research and the ability to build a high-performing team, whilst being agile, connected and future-focused. As programme leader, you will effectively lead a group of diverse and creative lecturers/pouako and senior lecturers/senior pouako who deliver high-quality teacher education programmes. You will also have an overview of the graduate qualification in terms of pedagogical content, academic processes, development of new assessment, knowledge about directions for ongoing review and development and online delivery for the programme.
