We are a happy, hardworking full primary currently undergoing a full school ILE rebuild. Our first block of classes are on track for June 2018 with our second specialist block following shortly after. We are moving from Māori enrichment classes into bilingual classes. Therefore we want someone who is competent in te reo Māori and knowledgeable in tikanga Māori.

We want an effective practitioner who can help us build our capacity to deliver programmes in te reo Māori, as we experience this new journey into bilingual learning. We are searching for a teacher passionate about improving outcomes for students, someone who is able to plan, implement and evaluate successful learning programmes, and someone who embraces collaborative practices. We hope to find a teacher who is confident and competent using Chromebooks and iPads and is willing to help drive the integration of digital devices.

Whānau relationships are very important to us so they must be important to you. Kapa haka experience is a bonus. Our teaching team of 3 will cover Y1–8 within their studio so there is some flexibility about which year levels you will take responsibility for.
