We’re looking for an engaging and knowledgeable teacher who has specialised in learning support and is determined to make a difference for learners, to join our dynamic department. The successful applicant will support teaching and learning, and liaise with family and agencies, for several students as well as offer direct specialist teaching to wider groups at times.

Our high school is the only school serving the entire Māwhera Grey District community and we pride ourselves on inclusiveness. We collaborate in Māwhera Kahui Ako and the Manaiakalani Outreach programme, as well as running the West Coast Trades Academy, Māwhera Services Academy and Alt. Ed. From 2018, all students will be 1:1 using Chromebooks. We’re currently focusing on curriculum development and enjoy strong community support.
