An exciting opportunity exists for a qualified youth health worker to join our team.
We teach students who are unable to attend their regular school because of high physical and/or mental health needs. The position is to provide students individualised support while working towards transition to regular schools or beyond.
The successful applicant will work in partnership with Child, Adolescent and Family Mental Health Services, SHS teachers and other agencies to support students in the education setting. They will assist students and their families to develop coping skills and strategies for managing their own mental health and work towards healthier lifestyles.
