As principal you’ll provide professional leadership and direction for teachers, management, students and parents. You’ll be accountable to and will assist the BOT with the development of the strategic and annual operational plans, budgets and policies, and will lead the school in a manner consistent with the school’s values of Respect, Integrity, Empathy, Creativity and Determination.
Significant educational experience and qualifications – both teaching and administrative
Extensive experience in curriculum leadership in the NZ education system
Outstanding and visionary leadership
Have demonstrated the values of our kaupapa of learning – manaakitanga, whanaungatanga, whakamana and pono
Capacity to proactively seek new and innovative ways to improve operations
Highly developed oral and written communication skills in order to raise the profile of the school
The ability to present well-researched reports and initiatives to the BOT.
