We seek an experienced educator, excited about working in a girls-only learning environment, to provide effective leadership in teaching and learning.
You will have an indepth knowledge of the NZ Curriculum as well as current research into best practice for teaching, learning and assessment and their practical application, leading to success for all learners.
Our imminent new school build provides impetus for a shift in pedagogy to embrace the opportunities of working in a flexible learning environment. The successful applicant has a key role to support innovation in curriculum and pedagogy.
Our school's Vision for Learning provides a framework for learning at our school. You have a role to play in leading our curriculum leaders to further embed this vision by working with their staff to provide learning that empowers each learner, is based on strong relationships, encourages deep rather than shallow learning and which makes connections for the learner.
While the priority for this role is teaching and learning there will be some negotiated additional tasks as part of the DP role. However for 2018, the priority is to prepare students and staff for the transition to the flexible learning environment of our new school, through curriculum design and pedagogical approaches.
