We seek an ordained, teaching chaplain from the beginning of 2018.

The chaplain is responsible for leading the spiritual life and worship of the school community and working with the principal, staff and students to develop a depth of understanding, empathy and thoughtfulness based on Christian values and beliefs. The position will include a teaching component linked to the appointee’s qualifications and background.

The chaplain will:

  • Profess a mainstream Christian faith
  • Have an understanding of and a commitment to the concept of special character in an integrated school
  • Demonstrate ability and an active enthusiasm for working with young people
  • Be a registered teacher or with such qualifications and background that the school can apply for a Limited Authority to Teach.

Position commences term 1, 2018. 

We are a state integrated Anglican day and boarding school for Y7-13 girls.
