As the manager, Auckland region, you will have a strong internal and external customer focus. Developing capability and performance, coaching and lifting staff skills are important outcomes to achieve future success. With a strong ability to convert legislative frameworks into operational service development, you will be responsible for designing the quality assurance strategy. This will include best practice advocacy management and the application of policy and procedures that support the health, safety and wellbeing of children. Together with the team you will challenge current 'norms', ensure alignment with the organisational strategy, map key sector opportunities and deliver pedagogical best practice standards. You will provide trusted advice to the managing director on MOE legislation, as well as best practice insights from the wider NZ education system.
This is a full-time position based in Auckland. The successful applicant reports to the managing director.
Previous experience in frontline operational leadership, along with working across other business units is important. Attractive salary and remuneration. You should have NZ residency or citizenship.
