Permanent, full-time or part-time role in Kerikeri
'As an educator, it is our responsibility to equip young people with the capacity to think, solve problems and respond to and thrive within a changing society.'
Do you want to join an innovative and progressive school?
With 11 campuses across the length and breadth of NZ, we are a Y3–13 independent special character school. We are truly unique – delivering the NZ Curriculum to over 1,700 students across 16 sites, small classes with motivated and high-achieving students, modern well-equipped learning spaces, an innovative approach to education and a strong focus on self-directed learning.
Our Northland Campus in Kerikeri is seeking to appoint an NZ registered intermediate teacher on a full-time (or part-time 0.6 FTE or 0.8 FTE) basis. While not essential, an English specialism and/or experience in teaching English would be an advantage.
Reporting to the campus principal, the successful candidate will be responsible for instilling in their students a desire to learn through self-directed learning programmes. The ability to integrate ICT into the teaching and learning process is paramount, as is success of forging positive relationships with students, staff and the wider school community.
Our teaching professionals are learning coaches – they make learning visible, facilitating students to become self-directed in their personal discovery of where they are, where they are going and what they need to do to get there.
This is an exciting opportunity for candidates dedicated to providing high-quality learning programmes in an innovative and positive learning environment.
Please note that all applicants will need to have NZ teacher registration and have the right to live and work in NZ.
