This is a fabulous opportunity for a fully certified ECE teacher ready for a role that provides leadership to head teachers, centre managers and teaching teams, through facilitating and developing reflective practice and high performance.

You will support our kindergartens in upholding professional standards and meeting or exceeding the organisation’s expectations of excellent leadership and teaching practice.

Promoting professional development, building leadership capability and supporting teams and head teachers in their practice are key to this position.  Vital to your success will be:

  • Coaching and mentoring skills
  • Experience conducting appraisals
  • Experience facilitating workshops
  • Understanding of the teacher certification process
  • A deep pride in the quality of the teaching profession in NZ
  • Familiarity with the kindergarten teachers professional standards and practising teacher criteria.

In this wide-reaching role, you will be supported by, and work closely with, your colleagues in the People and Capability team, our operations managers, as well as the wider head office support team.

You must be a qualified, fully certificated early childhood teacher with a current practising certificate. This role is at senior teacher level and is covered under the Kindergarten Teachers, Head Teachers and Senior Teachers' Collective Agreement 2017–2019.
