Our centres are proudly based in richly diverse communities where relationships are central to everything that happens on a day-to-day basis. We want someone who feels as enchanted as we are about what we do every day, and has the aptitude and personality to prove it in practice.
Our leaders must inspire their teachers to deliver the very best curriculum and practice for our tamariki. To be the very best, we need you to have the following:
Previous centre management experience (or at least 2 years in a head teacher or sssistant manager position) with full teacher certification
Honed skills using a shared leadership approach, e.g. providing an autonomous environment for teachers as well as being practised in teaching teams from diverse cultural and beliefs backgrounds
Possession of a deep-seated understanding of Te Whāriki, Tātaiako and relevant MOE publications
Extensive expertise and understanding of individual learning assessment and internal evaluation processes
An ability to motivate, inspire, and lead fellow teachers toward our vision of providing positive outcomes for children
To apply, applicants should be either a NZ citizen or hold NZ residency.
If you meet these essential requirements and want to be part of an award-winning team helping children reach the greatest of their potentials, then let us know as soon as possible.
We value all our staff and the amazing work they do, so in reward and appreciation, we offer competitive remuneration packages, employee benefits and ongoing support and training for being part of the team.
