Seaweek: Saturday 29 February to Sunday 8 March 2020!
The theme this year is: Connecting with our Seas, Ko au te moana, ko te moana ko au – I am the sea, the sea is me.
NZAEE & MERC encourage everyone to take the opportunity to celebrate and learn more about our marine environment by taking part in Seaweek.
Check out the Ocean Champion Challenge – you can enter the whole class! It requires entrants to undertake a specific 'Ocean Challenge' to help solve a problem in the marine environment.

In March 2020 we're inviting you to join an expedition of discovery to find out what climate change is all about.
On this expedition you're going to become a climate scientist. Part of your mission is to build your own story using some easy to use tech tools. This will be an empowering and fun opportunity to become part of the solution to climate change.
Parents and Teachers Note: Climate change can be a difficult topic for students and teachers. We will aim to keep the science simple and to emphasise responses to climate change.
