Information for boards of state and state-integrated schools
The Auditor-General, by law (the Public Audit Act 2001), appoints the auditors of all state and state-integrated schools. Please note that the Board is not able to seek its own auditor.
Over the next few months, we will begin the process of appointment of school auditors for 2021 to 2023, and send schools and their Boards of Trustees more information as we go.
Please note that the 2020 audits are not affected – this process is for the 2021–2023 audits.
