The Child Protection in ECE workshop is a 2 hour session, packed with information regarding legal requirements that are designed to ensure the safety and wellbeing of children.
Teachers will learn about why child protection policies and procedures are instrumental, how to define abuse and discuss practical steps to take in various situations.
The GPS Symposium is for parents/caregivers/educators of teenagers. The Symposium offers seminars on a variety of topics, with speakers coming from all over Aotearoa to share their knowledge and expertise on topics including: resilience, alcohol, drugs, relationships, self harm, body image, neurodiversity, pornography, employment and more.
The purpose of the Symposium is to inform, inspire and educate our attendees so that they can support the young people in their lives. This is an opportunity to connect with experts, specialists and fellow parents/caregivers and educators, and to fill your kete with the tools and knowledge needed to navigate the teenage years.
Understanding and knowing how to respond to children who have experienced trauma is an ongoing journey for our teaching teams. This workshop will explore the trauma informed approach and unpack some of the challenges and barriers we have overcome to ensure all our teams are on the same page with this pedagogical approach.

Yeah Baby! is a specialist conference concerned with the education and care of our infants from birth to three years of age. This one-day conference runs from 9am-3pm on a Saturday and includes trade fair, and great seminar and workshops style presentations. The format for the day ensures delegates will return to their early childhood settings affirmed and inspired with up-to-date research as well as practical advice, guidance and solutions all relevant to work and play with children under 3. New information is shared each year and each programme varies according to region.
