Tena Koutou,

I am an Education psychology graduate looking for Intermediate and Secondary school teachers or counsellors willing to trial my SEL (Social and Emotional Learning) resources with their students.

Currently, these resources are focused on building character strengths, mindfulness and strategies for resilience (a mix of lesson plans, activities, posters and task cards).

I am keen to offer all these resources for free in exchange for some useful 'teacher tested' feedback as I continue to develop new resources as well.

Each resource has been designed using principles of game theory (critical thinking and strategy development, reflecting on outcome, cooperation and competition) to ensure students are engaged and have fun with each activity.

Almost all the activities can be completed within a standard period (some are shorter) and can be used in a number of ways; to start the day on a positive note, after lunch to help students re-center for the afternoon, as a break from periods of concentrated learning or simply to bring about calm - refresh student energy and focus.

If you are interested please let me know a bit about yourself and briefly how you would intend to use these SEL resources in your classroom/ in your workshops. Ideally I would love to find a small hub of passionate teachers to test out my resources ongoing.

I look forward to hearing from you!

Nga mihi
