Ākonga Stream:
Join Y8/10 ākonga from your region to work through a supported process to develop a game based digital solution to address climate and conservation issues in our local area. Ākonga will be supported by the team at impactED to work through a design process to figure out what barriers there are, and develop an idea to present back to the group.

Come and hear about amazing resources developed to support digital technologies pathways that have been curriculum aligned and can be assigned to students to work through online. You will be provided with a resource to guide you through the AWS Spark content, and given time to look through courses and navigate where and how this will fit into your classroom programme.
Who is this hui for?
This hui is best suited for Y8–10 ākonga (13+), and kaiako who want to know more about digital opportunities for students using free curriculum aligned AWS resources.
The hui is open to school teams made up of 3 or 4 ākonga. Schools can register multiple teams. Each school must have 1 x kaiako attend the hui.
This is a free hui for kaikao and ākonga in Nelson.
