This Safe for Children live online course is ideal for school leaders, teachers, teacher aides, OSCAR staff, recreation staff, childcare and teacher support staff, and parents/caregivers.
Our introduction training programme is made up of one 60-minute module and meets once online.
Module 1. Understanding ADHD – an introduction or refresher course • What is ADHD? • How do we recognise the characteristics of ADHD? • How do the effects of ADHD impact our children/tamariki? • Medication: what are the pros and cons? • How can we tailor our environment to help prevent frustration and build-up?
