This course is designed to help school leaders/ teachers/ support staff to recognise and understand common types of anxiety that students of all ages may be experiencing. This workshop will help teachers understand anxiety and the triggers that contribute to student anxiety. We will examine practical ways to help support students with anxiety and discuss evidence-based strategies that work. Learning outcomes

  • At the completion of the course participants will be able to:
  • Recognise common types of anxiety in students (children and adolescents)
  • Understand how anxiety affects young people
  • Gain knowledge about the types of treatments available
  • Practice skills to help support students with anxiety.
