At Tauranga City Libraries, we are excited to bring you an amazing set of free, hands-on learning opportunities for term 4, including a limited-term programme, Moa Mania: Bringing Extinction to Life. This captivating session gives learners a unique opportunity to investigate the science of Aotearoa's largest ever bird, the Moa.

Moa Mania – Bringing Extinction to Life
Step into the shoes of an ornithologist and explore this fascinating area of science, looking at the largest bird to ever walk Aotearoa, the moa.
Learners will hear stories, experience authentic learning activities, handle artifacts and much more in this highly interactive learning session.
