Getting the most out of the Numicon Shapes - Series (1-4 Parts)

Numicon shapes are brilliant for making maths really obvious at every level of learning. Teaching and assessment is enriched by these clever tools based on decades of research. They give you insight into children’s thinking and reasoning, promote deep mathematical conversations, enable problem-solving individually but more so in groups. You will all enjoy the exploration and use of patterns and relationships in going deeper with mathematics.
These are practical workshops, so you might want to bring your shapes, baseboards and pegs/counters with you.
Series dates are the 29th August, 6th September, 14th September and 19th September 2022, all at 3:30-4:30 pm.
