We are excited to announce that Celebrating Northland's Tamariki bi-annual conference is being held in Whangarei Saturday 8 October 2022. Our kaupapa this year is “Re-imagining Your Creative Self ”Kia Mau ki ngā mahi toi - Hold steadfast to creativity.

Our opening keynote speaker is Dr Lisa Terreni. Lisa is a senior lecturer at Victoria University of Wellington’s Faculty of Education, School of Education teaching in the early childhood education degree programmes. She has been involved in early childhood education for many years—as a kindergarten teacher, a senior teacher, and as a professional development adviser for the Ministry of Education. She is also an artist.

Registrations open 26 August and can be completed on the website.

The conference will be held for the day at Kamo High School.

Morning tea and lunch will be provided.

There will be 4 scholarships available for students who are currently training.  Information about these and how to apply will be available on our website.
