After several years closed for earthquake strengthening the Museum in now open and available for school visits. We have a brand new exhibition experience that is interactive and engaging. This is not a Museum stuffed with balls and shirts but instead a celebration of the diversity and rich social story present in our summer game. There is a virtual reality batting cage and unique items including the third oldest cricket bat in the world. The Museum occupies the ground floor of the Museum stand at the historic Basin Reserve and a visit can include a tour of the grounds and if available a look into the players area deep under the Vance stand. We have space for buses onsite and are situated close to Government House and Pukeahu that are popular destinations for school visits.
