The Science Roadshow will again be on tour during 2022 refreshed with new exhibits, shows and classroom ready resources – all designed to support and augment the delivery of curricula as well as enthusing and stimulating teachers and students.

The Science Roadshow strongly supports the Nature of Science strand and the Five Foundational Science Capabilities and is an exciting and entertaining learning programme of two live demonstrations and 55–60 hands-on exhibits that broaden students' knowledge of the STEM subjects.

The programme lasts for 80 minutes and includes:

Two new shows:

“Sparks, Arcs and Gherkins” - The dynamics of electricity.

“Wonderful Water” - The amazing properties of water and how it cycles through our world.

New exhibit themes:

Astronomy, Ecology and the Environment, Gravity, Heat, Human Lab, Sound

Resource Book:
The complimentary resource book contains many useful activities, both pre and post visit, as well as a complete unit plan on Water.  This resource has been developed to enhance student learning outcomes, allowing teachers to better plan and prepare students for their visit and subsequent follow up tasks.
