Are your learners getting the best out of problem-solving activities in your maths lessons?

Can they solve new unfamiliar problems using concepts they know?

Can they competently explain and justify their solutions?

Come and learn from Catherine how tools can be the key to supporting rich conversations, unlocking mathematical ideas and creating ahaa moments.

This course will use a variety of tools such as number lines, Cuisenaire rods, rulers and bar modelling. Attendees will receive a maths pack of resources they can use back in their class.

Morning tea will be provided please bring your own lunch.
