Hamilton: Strengthening Local Curriculum Wānanga Series

Facilitated by Ruth Foulkes, Janine Mackay and Pip Newick, this Wānanga series of two full days and two twilight sessions, will provide an opportunity for you to grow in your role as a Kaikōtuitui - a networker, a facilitator, a leader of curriculum. You will be supported to weave together the essence and unique qualities of you, your kura, and the community, to create a clear, rich vision of future possibilities for all ākonga.

This series will review and strengthen your local curriculum by:

  • exploring your role in this process as Kaikōtuitui - a networker, a facilitator, a leader of curriculum
  • supporting you as you look back, delve into, and grow from the wealth that sits within your kura and rohe
  • looking forward and exploring future possibilities through cultural narratives and other high impact practices.

  • Session 3 | Thursday, 05 May 2022 | Twilight
  • Session 4 | Friday, 17 June 2022 | Full day

Twilight sessions

Registration: 4–4.30pm

Session: 4.30–7pm
