Hamilton: A series of workshops for Learning Support Coordinators: Supporting gifted learners

Professional development (PD) Bay of Plenty

Posted: 21 November 2021
Notice reference #: 1HARRj

This workshop will explore how we can develop shared understandings of what it means to be gifted. Utilising a bi-cultural approach, participants will discover the ways in which they can identify gifted learners and their particular needs within their localised context.

“If their needs are not recognised and supported, gifted children may not progress to their potential, which may have impacts on their identity, and social and emotional wellbeing. We want to ensure gifted children and young people have access to a range of learning that challenges them and helps them to succeed.”
