Judi Cranston, award winning music educator and Director of kindyRock, music for young children, is thrilled to be launching a new video on Wednesday 8 December, with support from NZ on Air.

Grandad’s Farm is an upbeat song with a sing-along melody, that teaches children about different animals, the sounds they make  as well as a variety of vehicles found in the country side. This would make an ideal resource for early childhood and junior teachers introducing farm animals and would be great to use with puppets or as an assembly item with children dressed up!

The video has been created by Parry Jones, an animator and claymation video editor who has worked on Judi’s previous popular videos – Slip, Slop, Slap and Wrap and the 5 + A Day song. This video is a little different and is really fun and engaging.

As part of the launch of the video, we are running a competition! It opens on Wednesday 24 November and Judi will announce the winners live on Facebook on launch day – Wednesday 8 December.

To enter, all you have to do is send a photo of your child(ren) with their favourite farm animal – real or toy to Winners will receive a cool farm animal puppet, a kindyRock CD and a special kindyRock pen. Be in to win!
