This webinar will explore how learning communities can give mana to Te Tiriti o Waitangi. Participants will unpack what each of the articles of Te Tiriti means, and how they might be implemented into practice. An action plan framework will also be shared.

By the end of this webinar you will be able to:

  • Use the Tiriti o Waitangi action plan to evaluate ways your learning community affirms their commitment to biculturalism and Te Tiriti o Waitangi
  • Unpack the articles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and explore how these relate to policy and practice in your setting
  • Explore how your setting is and could be engaging with Māori students, their whānau and iwi/hapū in ways that enact your obligations as an effective Te Tiriti o Waitangi partner.
