SavY New Zealand (based in Auckland and Wellington) bolsters college students' financial literacy by running free 50 minute financial literacy workshops in secondary school classrooms. The organisation is run by ambitious university students who are passionate about improving New Zealand's education system and they run the following workshops:

  • Basic (for Y9–10 students)
  • Intermediate (for Y11 students)
  • Advanced (for Y12–13 students).

Their programmes cover various financial/economic areas such as budgeting, debt, and insurance. Each workshop caters to approximately 30 students maximum. They allow for comprehensive yet fun interaction, activities, and discussion between students and SavY Facilitators that draw from real-life examples.
