Mini #LitterLessCampaign - Reduce Environmental Pollution
Teacher and director of kindyRock, Judi Cranston’s catchy affirmation song ‘Put it in my Head’ is all about helping kids to realise they can choose a positive frame of mind as soon as they wake up. “Affirmations are a great way to instil a positive self-image into children and adults, says Judi, “plus using upbeat music to start the day helps to set us up for a day filled with happiness!”.
With support from NZ on Air, Judi is about to release 3 affirmation videos for children – just in time for Mental Health Awareness week (27 September – 1 October). The songs are all from her album “Amazing Affirmations for Kids”; are fun and encouraging and are very fitting for 4 – 8 year olds.
Entitled I Can Be Anything, Step Right In and Put it in my Head these videos remind children that they can be whatever they want to be, and that they can choose how they respond to the world around them – with a smile or with a frown.
The videos in the ‘Happy Minds Project’ feature a talented group of children singing along with Judi to reinforce these important messages.
The videos will be premiered on Wednesday 8, 15 and 22 of September on www.youtube.com/kindyRock and will include a resource pack for teachers and parents wanting to use the songs.
Join Judi online Monday 13 September 7.30pm, as she workshops the song ‘Step Right In’. She will demonstrate lots of ways to use this song to help kids develop a positive mindset, self esteem and resilience. See our facebook page for for further details https://www.facebook.com/kindyRock.
