The Learning Support study awards support teachers and kaiako to train for the Post Graduate Diploma in Specialist Teaching at Massey University. The awards cover recipients’ course costs, employee contribution towards study leave and travel costs to attend block courses. Applications are welcome from degree-qualified teachers who want to develop their skills supporting learners with additional learning needs.
Applications for study awards open on 2 August and close on 30 September.
Teachers with the Post Graduate Diploma are highly sought after as specialist resource teachers and/or advisors.

Commence study in 2022 towards a Teaching English in Schools to Speakers of Other Languages (TESSOL) qualification.
You're eligible to apply if you:
• are a NZ citizen or NZ resident
• work full or part-time in a state-funded school or ECE
• are a NZ registered teacher teaching English language learners
• have at least 2 years' teaching experience.
Scholarships are offered for study at selected tertiary providers throughout NZ.
Scholarship funds tuition fees for core papers and $200 towards course-related costs.
Applications close Tuesday, 16 November 2021.
