Wellbeing and Curriculum / Hauora Mauratanga
Over these sessions, we will explore the fundamentals of resilience, focus on wellbeing using Te Whare Tapa Whā; a model for understanding Māori health, and participate in an interactive session of felt making that will give you the opportunity to explore the concepts of the day.
1. Lauren Parsons - Boosting your resilience. This session will focus on the fundamentals of boosting resilience to support you to be equipped to respond, rather than react, and ensure you last the distance.
2. Jade Whaanga – Te Whare Tapa Whā. This session will focus on wellbeing using the Māori health model, Te Whare Tapa Whā.
3. Jo Dean - Felt making. This interactive session provides you with the opportunity to explore the concepts of the day through the medium of felt making.
