Maths education has gone through many transformations over the years, with new ideas and tools introduced. This hui will introduce you to and help you understand these new ideas to begin building a strong and equitable Maths curriculum.

We will look at how themes such as:

  • Growth Mindset
  • Kaupapa Māori
  • Inclusion
  • Authentic Contexts
  • Assessment for Learning
  • Important Learning, not left to chance

All these elements fit together to build a strong and equitable Maths curriculum.

Who is this event for?
This session is suitable for Y1–13 kaiako and senior leaders who are interested in learning new strategies for Delivering Maths through a Local Curriculum Lens.

Delicious Kai and refreshments will be available.

Te Ao Māori values will be upheld throughout the hui.
