Applications are now open for WiE CAN 2022 - the University of Canterbury's Women in Engineering Residential Programme.

Taking place 16–20 January 2022, WiE CAN will be held at the UC campus and is open to current Y12 female students (or those who identify as female), who are studying physics and maths with calculus at a NZ high school.

The programme will feature interactive sessions to uncover what engineers ‘do’, a range of inspiring presentations from both graduate and experienced engineers, plus plenty of fun social activities for attendees to connect with like-minded young women from around the country.

WiE CAN is completely free, inclusive of all programme, accommodation and meal costs. Attendees are responsible for travel to and from the camp, however we can offer assistance for travel expenses to any successful applicants experiencing financial hardship.

Applications close Friday 13 August so please encourage all eligible students to apply.
