The Yoga for Schools Programme utlises the ancient Indian science of yoga as a context for teaching social and emotional competancies in the classroom. Through learning the movements and being encouraged to notice and control their breathing and what feelings and thoughts arise, students develop an emotional vocabulary, a toolkit for navigating big emotions and an increased capacity for resilience, compassion and empathy for self and others.

This educator series introduces parents and education professionals to the programme in a playful and practical way over four weekend sessions.
You will participate in the sequences and activities with ample opportunity to ask questions.

Week 1
Understanding the framework of yoga
The mindful minute and the warm-up sequence

Week 2
What is fight and flight?
Warrior poses and balancing poses

Week 3

Week 4
