Nau mai, haere mai!

The world can change around us, or we can make change on the world. Te Pae Tawhiti is a future forward careers summit that will awaken our rangatahi to the inner innovator that sits within their whakapapa.

Rangatahi Māori are primed to lead a change in digital technology, science, arts, and engineering, with Te Pae Tawhiti seeking to spark the flame of curiosity and provide a pathway to see that curiosity rewarded.

This one-day summit will feature a morning of industry leading kaikōrero (speakers), followed by activities to awaken conversation between rangatahi, industry leaders and education pathway providers.

Te Pae Tawhiti is targeted towards high-school aged rangatahi Māori who are curious at exploring a future in the digital technologies, animation, robotics, engineering, or architectural sectors; rangatahi may not have necessarily studied any of the above or similar subjects in school, but rather demonstrate a curiosity or interest. The aspiration for Te Pae Tawhiti is to showcase more future opportunities for our rangatahi to enable them to lead the future.
