Providing detailed information, practical guidance, and strategies for educating students with Down syndrome and other special learning needs

Who is it for? SENCO’s, teachers, teacher aides, specialist staff, and parent educators of students with Down syndrome and other special learning needs.

Topics: Inclusion, the Learning Profile of Students with Down syndrome, Behaviour, Friendships, Numeracy, Literacy and Using Visual Aids to Access the Curriculum.

Date and time: 9–10 August from 8.30am to 3.45pm

Location: : Pakuranga Hunt Room, Ellerslie Event Centre, Auckland

Cost: $350 (GST inclusive) per person. Morning, afternoon tea and lunch provided.
